Beautiful Beetroot Hummus….

  • Yields: A gathering


250 g Beetroot, cooked, peeled & rough chopped

400 Chickpeas, rinsed, reserve a little chickpea water, 6 tbsp...

2 Garlic Cloves, peeled & smashed

1 Lemon, juiced

1-2 tbsp Tahini

6 tbsp Good olive oil

1 tsp Ground Cumin

1 tsp Sea Salt to taste

Freshly Milled Black Pepper

Drizzle of Sesame oil to serve

Freshly rough chopped parsley to serve....

Sesame seeds to serve


This one is so quick and simple guys you'll love it...

Whizz up all the ingredients in the food processor until they are fairly smooth. Blitz for longer if you like it silky. Taste for seasoning and adjust to suit your tasty buds. Serve it in a beautiful bowl, drizzled with sesame oil and a scattering of sesame seeds & green herbs, parsley is nice........
